Patient suites included in our upgrade plan are now ready for occupation. Calm colours incorporating ani-bacterial coatings, have been used for decoration with complimentary antistatic, slip resistant, warm touch flooring.

Our choice of furnishings sees the installation of fully washable and mobile chairs and units, which not only assists with cleaning between occupancies but offers individuality in each suite.

Remote controlled window blinds and flat screen televisions enables patients to take control of their environment - with positive evaluations already received from patients and visitors alike.

_________________________

In July we opened our inpatient Assessment Suite. The facility will enable a greater range of outpatient procedures requiring high level support services to be performed close to the ward area.

With integral disabled toilet facilities, this new suite has been designed to provide a high level of privacy.

The upgrade of facilities in CT and MRI, in preparation for the installation of the new MRI scanner is nearing completion.

Burton Clinic are happy to have supported the Imaging Department in access to these services during their own upgrade project.

The new facility and scanner will greatly improve access to services for both Private and NHS patients at Queens Hospital.
