An AMENITY BED day rate is charged, in accordance with the NHS Act 1977. The fee for the estimated length of stay is payable by the patient on or prior to admission.

The charge  is calculated on the expected length of stay X the daily rate of £250.00 (current 01/04/2010)

The AMENITY BED charge is for a single en suite room with private bath or shower on Burton Clinic, included services are daily newspaper and gourmet menu.

All clinical care continues to be delivered as part of the NHS treatment plan.

AMENITY BED stays do not include private healthcare.
