I was born in Genoa (Italy) and have lived in England since the age of 3. I obtained my medical degree in 1988 having attended Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School.
My Orthopaedic training was on the North West Thames Registrar circuit (1995 – 2000) and I subsequently completed a fellowship in hip surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford under the supervision of Mr Peter Mclardy-Smith.
I have been a Consultant at Queen’s Hospital in Burton since 2001.
I have a sub-specialist interest in hip and knee replacement/resurfacing/revision surgery as well as arthroscopic knee surgery and sports injuries.
